Rayman Legends Challenges App AVAILABLE NOW

Today is the 25th of April, and it is also a good day for Rayman fans. As promised, Ubisoft have released a second Rayman Legends demo for Wii U fans. This demo contains all the content from the original one (3 levels and 5 characters), but also contains a new challenge mode in which you can participate in daily and weekly challenges, and attempt to rank highest on the leaderboards.

This demo will be updated daily, and weekly, with new challenges to give fans something to play, and compete in, while they wait for the full version of the game to come out in August. The two challenges currently available are set in the same level, but one requires the player to collect 150 lums in the shortest possible time, while the other requires the player to travel the furthest distance. There are also new, unlockable characters in this demo that the player can 'purchase' using lums they acquire throughout the demo.

Check out the demo in action below:

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen Initial Impressions

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen comes out this week, April 26th, for Xbox 360 and PS3 and comes with vast array of brand new content.

This game is perfect for both people that are new to the series, and have yet to try out the original Dragon's Dogma, and people that are returning to extend their story, and gameplay experience.

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen comes with the original game, so people that are new can begin right at the start, as well as a range of new skills for each of the professions, over 100 new pieces of armour and weapons, 14 new pawn/character augments, and on top of that there is an HD Texture pack and a full Japanese voice-over that can be installed. Not forgetting the entirely new zone, Bitterblack Isle, that players have to explore.

In short, this game is packed full of content, and is much more than your average DLC expansion. Ideal for both newcomers and returning fans, this is certainly a game worth picking up.

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen - HD Texture Pack Comparison

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen comes with a second disc, and on that disc is not only a complete Japanese voice-over track, but there is also an HD Texture pack. The HD Texture pack does a good job in improving a lot of the bland, blurry and quite washed out textures from the original game, and helps breathe life back into this new expansions.

Forza Horizon 1000 Club DLC AVAILABLE NOW

The new 1000 Club DLC for Forza Horizon launched today, 16th April, on Xbox 360. The DLC was only officially announced last week, but comes with 2 new cars, and a whole host of content for all the existing cars.

This new DLC adds medals for every single car in the game, and these medals are earned by performing various skills and challenges - some as simple as "perform 2 great drifts", while others will require you to get from one place to another, in a set period of time. Players can then compete with one another in the new medal leaderboards to be the best. This DLC also adds 10 new achievements to the existing batch.

The DLC is absolutely free, and available now, so check it out!
